Public administration reforms, good governance and decentralization
Rule of law, economic governance and public administration reforms are the pillars of modern, European reform process. The public administration system is politicized, lacks transparency and capacity to provide quality services to the public.
IPIS develops policies and programs to create transparent, accountable and effective public administration which caters to the needs of citizens and businesses. Some of the priority areas are:
- Creating a professional, non-politicized civil service, with meritocratic recruitment;
- Center of Government reforms (including delivery unit) to improve policy planning and coordination, human resource management, administrative procedures and public financial management across Government agencies;
IPIS provides expertise and project implementation capacity in the rule of law, good governance and decentralization.
